Welcome to our free competition for Art postcards and letters! Every year we will encourage you to send a card to our Convention site. The card must be home-made by you and involve the subject of caves, karst and caving. It can be in any medium, photograph or print. It can be elaborate or simple, a poem, a comment, a story...it must be art. Every year, we will have SpeleoArtLetters in our workshops at Convention. Send your artwork with your name and address to:

What happens to the cards and letters after they arrive at the Convention site?

They will be opened and displayed in the Fine Arts Salon.. The display will allow viewers to see the front and the back of the card/letter with the envelope it came in, the date and stamp will be part of the interest.

The cards will then go to the NSS Auction where they will be sold to the highest bidders, the money raised at NSS Auction goes to the many concerns of the NSS, from conservation projects to all the educational functions within the NSS. We are a non-profit organisation, so your participation is very much appreciated.

The competition will have a prize of $10 to the best card. There will also be a real certificate for your portfolio too!
