Membership in the Vertical Section is open to all NSS members demonstrating an interest in the objectives of the organization and agreeing to abide by its tenets. Membership shall not be denied due to race, sex, religious affiliation, or national origin. Membership in the Vertical Section is open to all NSS members in good standing. Members can vote, hold office, and participate in all Section activities. Also, for the years paid, they receive access to the Nylon Highway, plus any other publications, as authorized by the Executive Board of the Section. Membership Annual Dues are now: $3.00 - with electronic access to the Nylon Highway. Subscriber is open to Non-NSS members or groups. Subscribers are entitled only to receive Vertical Section publications. Subscriber Annual cost is now: $3.00 - with electronic access to the Nylon Highway. The Nylon Highway is now to be distributed primarily in electronic format (on this website). Each article will be posted on the website at the time it's received, to ensure timeliness of the information. An "Annual Volume" of the Nylon Highway will consist of all articles submitted during that calendar year. The electronic version will remain on the website indefinitely. Access to the electronic version will be by password, provided upon payment of dues or subscription and valid for the term of dues paid. Printed Annual Volume At the close of each year, the "Annual Volume" of articles may be printed, if there are sufficient requests for it. Members without net access or those wanting a paper copy for their library may prefer the hard copy. The paper copies will be printed in "newsletter format", that is, unbound, as screen print pages stapled together. The printed copy of the "Annual Volume" of the Nylon Highway must be ordered separately for $10.00 per copy, at the address given below.
