Thank you for your interest in the Paleontology Section of the NSS. We are an informal group of scientists, researchers, lay scientists and just plain cavers who are interested in all aspects of Paleontology as it relates to caves. While most of our members are involved in fossil vertebrate projects we welcome those interested in fossil invertebrates and fossil plants.

We meet once a year at the annual NSS Convention, where members and non members can present talks and papers on their research or favorite paleo projects. Our newsletter, the PaleoScene, is an excellent way to keep up to date on cave related paleontology. 

Dues in the section are $5 per year and are due January 1. Regardless of when you join you receive all current years newsletters.

If you're interested in caves and fossils the Paleontology Section is for you. We look forward to having you as a member and hearing about your particular interests and projects.
