Communications & Electronics Section "Better Caving Through Electrical Stuff"

The Communications and Electronics Section of the NSS provides a forum for those cavers interested in cave radio and electronic gadgetry. Some examples are electronics for hydrological, meteorological, and biological instrumentation and telemetry, mapping aids, electric lights and battery charging systems, electronics packaging to withstand the cave environment, and cave rescue communications. The Section meetings will provide a meeting place for the technology-oriented caver. The Section publishes Speleonics ® to share information among interested cavers.
