Southwestern Region Awards
- In 1992 the Southwestern Region received the NSS's last Group Conservation Award.
- In 2002 the Southestern Region received the US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management's National Volunteer Award, one of only two such group awards given by the BLM in 2002.
