Reaching the Campsite

From the east
Take Interstate Highway 90 west to Sheridan and Ranchester, then US Highway 14 and Alt 14 west across the Bighorn Mountains. Turn right (north) at Wyoming Highway 37, then north 9.5 miles to Crooked Creek Road (at the BLM Crooked Creek Station). Turn left, and follow the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile.

From the southwest
Take US Highway 191 north from Rock Springs, then Wyoming Highway 28 to Lander. From Lander, follow Wyoming Highway 789 to northeast to Riverton, then US Highways 26 to Shoshoni, and 20 to Thermopolis, Worland and Basin to the north. At Basin, follow US Highway 310 north to Lovell. Two miles east of Lovell, turn left (north) at Wyoming Highway 37, then north 9.5 miles to Crooked Creek Road (at the BLM Crooked Creek Station). Turn left, and follow the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile.

From the south
Take Interstate Highway 25 north to Casper, then US Highways 20 and 24 northwest to Shoshoni. From Shoshoni, follow US Highway 20 to Thermopolis, Worland and Basin to the north. At Basin, follow US Highway 310 north to Lovell, then US Highway Alt 14 east. Two miles east of Lovell, turn left (north) at Wyoming Highway 37, then north 9.5 miles to Crooked Creek Road (at the BLM Crooked Creek Station). Turn left, and follow the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile.

From the west
Take US Highway 20 east from West Yellowstone through Yellowstone National Park to Cody. At Cody, follow US Highway Alt 14 northeast to Lovell. Two miles east of Lovell, turn left (north) at Wyoming Highway 37, then north 9.5 miles to Crooked Creek Road (at the BLM Crooked Creek Station). Turn left, and follow the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile.

From the north
From Interstate Highway 90 at Billings, take US Highway 310 south through Bridger, than US Highway Alt 14 through Lovell east. Two miles east of Lovell, turn left (north) at Wyoming Highway 37, then north 9.5 miles to Crooked Creek Road (at the BLM Crooked Creek Station). Turn left, and follow the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile.

NSS directional signs will be placed near the campsite, guiding cavers from Wyoming Highway 37 north of Lovell.
