CLASSIFIED ADVERTISEMENTS
Current classified rates are 50 cents per word, with a 10% discount for ads running three months or longer. Payment must accompany copy. Make checks payable to the National Speleological Society, and send along with ad copy to NSS NEWS Classified, P.O. Box 879, Angels Camp, CA 95222. For questions regarding classified ads, contact the Editor.

PAYMENT TERMS
Prepayment is required for new advertisers. Make checks payable to the National Speleological Society. Open accounts for recognized advertising agencies and corporate advertisers is subject to credit approval. Late payments will have 1.5% per month interest added after 30 days

Adjustments to display ad invoice (see detailed info below):
Prepayment discount (minimum 2 placements): -5%
Recognized agency discount (not allowed on overdue accts.) -15%
NSS IOs, NSS activities, and educational org. discount (not allowed overdue accts.) -30%
Overdue accounts, per month (terms: net 30 days) 1.5%

DISCOUNT POLICY FOR PRE-PAYMENT
All advertisers who maintain a prepaid balance sufficient to cover their next two ad placements will receive a 5% prepayment discount off the published ad rates. For example, someone running 6 1/12 page ads would normally pay $65 a month. Keeping a balance of $130 would allow you to take an additional 5% off. To make sure you qualify, please make sure your payment is received by the first of the month in which the ad runs, since with the vagaries of second class mail we cannout predict exactly which day the News will be delivered.

COMMISSIONS
15% commission to recognized agencies if paid within 30 days of invoice.

NSS IO AND EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNTS
A 30% discount on black and white ad rates is available to NSS Internal Organizations, NSS activities, and educational organizations (Agency commissions do not apply).
