Survey Project

October 9, 2010 - survey project

Several cavers set out to do clean-up survey in the main passage and two side passages of Stemler Cave. One crew surveyed the remained of the main passage down to the sump; or nearly so. They also surveyed about 100' in a side passage. The second crew surveyed in another side passage that started out as a muddy hands and knees crawl but opened into walking passage after a few hundred feet. This survey netted two new leads and left with going cave.

Camping and camaraderie was the call for the evening with a slide show by Philip Moss followed by a late night fire.

Thank you to the Weck Family for providing a great camping and caving experience.
