AUDIO-VISUAL LIBRARY RENTAL RETURN POLICY

When shows are checked out from the Audio-Visual Library, the renter will be given a date the show is due back to the library. All shows are to be insured for $100 when being returned. Failure to do so could result in the renter being charged the cost to replace the show if it is lost and not insured.

When a show is overdue, the NSS Office will contact the renter five working days past the due date. The first notice will give the renter a new return date, which will be 10 working days from the date of the first notice.

If the show is not returned by the date indicated in the first notice, a second notice will be sent. The second notice will give a return date of 10 working days from the date of the second notice.

If the show is not returned by the date indicated in the second notice, a third and final notice will be sent. The third notice will give a return date of 10 working days from the date of the third notice. The third notice will also inform the renter that if the show is not returned by the third notice date, they will lose their library privileges until the show is returned. The renter may also be billed for the cost to replace the show at the discretion of the Operations Vice President.
