Motion to revise the NCRC logo to update the image and incorporate the National Speleological Society wording.
Unanimously approvedMotion to approve the NCRC logo for use in print/electronic media such as stationery, web pages, brochures, and publications. Its use in clothing items specifically associated with a training seminar, shall be approved by the National Coordinator and the Training Coordinator. There shall be no authorized NCRC patch.

Anmar will represent NCRC at ITRS 2000, and will distribute his presentation to the Discussion list.
Anmar will probably also piggy back the trip to include IKAR.Travel Reimbursement
John Punches will discuss this issue with the NSS, to determine if Regional NCRC funds can be used, on a case by case basis, to reimburse travel expenses for the Regional Coordinator to attend NCRC BORC meetings, to be decided by BORC and Region, plus other issues.The NCRC Chart of Accounts has been updated to 13b. NCRC accounts were reported to the NSS in time for the trial audit.

Motion to direct John Punches to contact Dave Ashburn and John Appleby to clarify and complete instructor assignments for the seminar, and to clarify dates that instructors need to be available.

Motion to allow the NSS to include in the publication of On Call the following statement:
On Call has been reviewed and endorsed by the National Cave rescue Commission (NCRC) as a working reference book on cave rescue methods. As in all rescue disciplines, improvements in procedures, equipment and organization structures are constantly being evaluated for safety and efficiency as the understanding of cave rescue improves.
Approved with one abstentionPunches requests that Anmar Mirza and Don Paquette draft a policy statement to share on the NCRC Discussion list, to be considered at the Winter meeting, regarding the use of NCRC training seminars as grotto fund raisers.
Motion that Eastern Region be allowed to conduct a modular Level 2 in conjunction with a weekend orientation class, provided that the orientation class members are not exposed to technical vertical work during the mock rescue.
Approved with one abstentionCheryl Jones introduced herself as the new NSS Administrative Vice-President.
Cave Rescue Section lunch is in Room 212 at 12:30, with the Rescue Session at 2 p.m.
