The 43rd Annual Mad-City Hodag Hunt
September 14-16, 2007
 

The 2007 Hodag Hunt was held at Governor Dodge State Park, north of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The park featured 5,200 scenic acres of steep hills, bluffs, and deep valleys plus two lakes, a waterfall and small caves. Over 100 cavers attended from the around the Midwest. The guest speaker was Dr. Richard Slaughter from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rich is the director of the Geology Museum at UW-Madison and gave an interesting talk on Pleistocene vertebrate deposits in Midwest caves. Thank you to Rich and everyone who attended and contributed to the event.
