41st Annual Hodag Hunt

Hosted by Crystal Cave- Spring Valley, WI

Sept. 16-18, 2005





The 41st Annual Hodag Hunt was held in Spring Valley, Wisconsin on September 16-18. Camping was located at the Highland Ridge Campground of the Eau Galle Recreation Area. Numerous caves in Wisconsin and Minnesota were visited, and a fine banquet was held at the Spring Valley Golf Course. Here are some pictures from the weekend's festivities.

A number of folks visited the nearby Rock Elm Disturbance, a possible meteorite impact site located near Spring Valley. Unusual faults and folds are found in this Ordovician outcrop at Nugget Lake County Park.
