The following statistics were created with a traditional cave register that was in place from August 10, 2002 through April 9, 2004. The register showed a total visitation of 138 visitors at Crystal Cave or about 84 people/year. It also shows that about 16 people or 12% local Nevadans visited the cave. If the cave had a closure for Townsend Big-eared Bats during April through End of September, 29 or 35% of the visitation would be affected. |
