the National Speleological Society
Purpose
The Timpanogos Grotto was established
September 25, 1974 as a local chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS),
"...to promote interest in and to advance in any and all ways the study
and science of Speleology, to promote the protection
of caves and their natural contents, and to promote fellowship among those
interested therein."
Meetings
Timpanogos Grotto meets the second
Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Hansen Mountaineering
at 1799 N. State Street in Orem, UT.
The meetings consists of cave related business, trip reports, trip planning,
and an educational program. All are welcome to attend.
