TCBG Meetings

NEW MEETING LOCATION!!

TCBG meetings will now be held at MTSU at the Mass Communications building in Room 103. Directions and a map to the new meeting location are available. Look for the red X on the map for the meeting location on campus.

Meetings are held the first Monday of each month (except for holidays) at 7 p.m. If a holiday falls on a Monday, we usually meet the following Monday. Please contact the current grotto chair for more info.

The best the way to learn about caving is to go with cavers, learning through their knowledge and experience of the cave environment. Dues for the TCB Grotto are $12 a year, which include a monthly newsletter, access to the e-mail list server, cave gear rental, and more.

Echo Hall, also known as the third room in Camps Gulf Cave is the largest room in the cave. Lighting in this photo was accomplished with four M3 bulbs along with one #5 and one Meggaflash PF330 bulb. Camera position was about 200ft away and coordination of communication to lighting team was accomplished by radio. It took about one hour to set up the shot. Special thanks to the lighting crew, Pete LaRue, Ben Yasui, Dave Twogood, and Jeff Paul. The model is John Weitsel.
