Logan Canyon Snow Conditions

On Trip: Duane McCully, Robert Cranney

This weekend we checked out snow conditions in the Logan Canyon area.

It is currently not possible to drive to the Tony Grove parking lot. However, there are only a couple of stretches that are around a hundred feet long that prevents access. By next weekend it could be driveable. I am positive that in two weeks it will be completely accessible.

The road to Minnetonka cave is still closed. The ranger at BSA Camp Hunt advised us that the gate will open on June 20th.

The road to Paris Ice Caves is still not passable due to snow. The condition of the road there is approximately the same as the Tony Grove road and I would expect it to melt out at about the same rate.

We also played around in the Amazon mine for a minute and I posted some of those pictures here as well.
