Location: Utah Valley Trip Leader: Jon Jasper On Trip: Jason Knight, Cami Litchford, Dale Green The purpose of the trip was to check the gate's condition and use and to remove trash from in and around the cave. After the gate first 2 weekends, it is still in good functioning condition. We met Dale at the entrance and remove trash from the area surrounding the cave entrance. We then headed in and removed trash throughtout the Maze section of the cave. At the end we were able to remove 3 full trash bags and a shell of an old microwave. Additional trips will occur to remove trash from the Slide Section and to remove graffiti throughout the cave. As of now the cave is clear of wierd smells and mostly clear of trash. The cave is also recieving very low (8 to 12 people per week) visitation.
