| Mystery Cave Trip |

| Location: Provo, UT Trip Leader: Cami Litchford On Trip: Cami Litchford, Robert Cranney On Tuesday, May 2, I was bored, so I went wandering in the hills of Provo. I ended up in an intermittant stream, and thought that it would be interested to go up it. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a hole. As I took a closer look, It appeared to be some sort of cave entrance. I did not have a l ight, so I did not go inside. Instead, I took a GPS reading, and called a bunch of cavers to see if they knew anything about it. No one knew anything. That day, I was so excited... I had never discovered a cave before. I spent all my free time wondering what was inside it. On the evening of Thursday, May 4, I asked Robert to come to the cave with me to see if it was anything significant. There were a lot of clouds in the sky, and it was threatening to rain on us, but we went anyways. When we arrived at the entrance, it started sprinkling, but we did not care, we were on an adventure. Rob first shined his light in the cave. Then he had me peek inside to see if it went anywhere. I had to remove a few rocks, so that I could squeeze in. I then had Rob look in. To confirm my disappointment, he just saw the hillside. Rocks and Dirt. We then headed back down to our cars, and it started pouring on us. Despite the disappointment, it was a great adventure. We ended our adventure with a trip to Subway. |
