Neffs Cave Speed Trip

On Trip: Peter Hartley, Brandon Kowallis, Harrison Holden, Duane McCully I guess several people were ready for a workout and a speedy Neffs trip can be just the ticket. And since I've never done a speed trip with todays fast cavers, I kept track of how long everything took. It took me fifty minutes to hike to the cave and the gate-to-bottom-to-gate time was two hours and forty-five minutes. Peter was ahead of me and his time was no doubt much quicker; he was gone when we got out. Brandon and Harrison were behind me so they were limited by my speed. Upon exiting the cave we found Cami Litchford and Rachel Kenske who had hiked to the entrance just for fun. I left Brandon and Harrison to lock up and had an enjoyable hike down with Cami and Rachel.
