Spanish Moss

Saturday, October 29th 2005 - Robert Cranney

Location: Provo, Utah Trip Leader: Cami Litchford On Trip: Cami Litchford, Robert Cranney, Tami Jensen, Thorpe Cox, and one other We met at the parking lot at 9:00 am. Once we got our packs together we started the hike. After a nice easy hike to the cave, we rigged to entrance. Once we were all in the cave, I decided to pull out my camcorder and do some filming while the rest of the group went to the bottom and played around. I slowly worked my way down, taking some footage of the formations and other intesting things. Once I got to the bottom the rest of the group was coming out the bottom room, and decided to work there way back to the top and continue into the upper section. I was still trying to get some good video footage and so I took my time coming back up the slope. Once I reached the rope the rest of the group was coming back from the upper section. We decided that it was time to head out. One at a time we climbed up the rope to the outside world. The sun was shining and the view was great. I decided to show Cami and the others in the group the "Fast" way down the mountain. Of course this is the area where the mine is, and you can ski down the rock slope. After 10 minutes we were all down to the main trail again and heading back to the parking lot. Cami lead a great trip. We all had a good time.
