Polygamy Cave
Sunday, July 9th 2006 - James Henry
Location: Tony Grove
Trip Leader: James Henry
On Trip: Dannielle Harden, James Henry, Tamie Jensen, Michael Mimbach

Sunday, July 9th, we went up to Tony Grove and hit up Polygamy cave.

The hike to the cave was rather nice. The weather was perfect, and the sun was shining. We got a little

distracted by how wonderful the day was. We looked into a few of the sink holes on the way to the cave.
Eventually, we found the cave.

Dannielle wasn't feeling too good, so she opted to not go into the cave. A shame because this is a very

interesting cave.

We got into the cave, and it's very cold. Much colder than I remember it was.

Anyhow, we got to the first drop, choices pit, and dropped down that.
We played around in the room with the register for a little while. We looked around a few pits. The

breakdown area the leads to the Wives pits was full of water.

Tamie and I were getting cold, so we decided to jug back out.
Tamie went up first, and had a few equipment issues.
I went up next, and my dbl bungee was jamming.
Mike came up last, and his frog wasn't working well.

Probably a good idea that we didn't try the wives pits!!!!!

We pulled the rope up, and headed out.

Not an epic caving trip.

But a good time, with some great people.
