SoCoMoGro Meeting Information
After several months of spirited discussion and debate, the members of SoCoMoGro
have
voted to change meeting locations from the Western Sizzlin' on 8th and Cimmaron
to Conways
Red Top Restaurant. It was collectivley decided that this move was necessary
as the facilities
at the Western Sizzlin' were inadequate to hold meetings. Meeting dates and
times have not
changed.
The Southern Colorado Mountain Grotto meets the first Wednesday of every month.
Meetings are
very informal and anyone who has an interest in caves or caving is invited
to attend. There are no
prerequisites to join the grotto, just a sincere interest in learning about
caves and caving in a safe
and responsible manner. Grotto dues are $5.00 a year and you do not have
to be a member of the
NSS to join however it is encouraged.
We would be happy to have you. At SoCoMoGro we strive to be a very friendly
and inclusive
grotto. Newcomers are welcome and we will do our best to answer any questions
and to help you get
started in caving. Meetings start at 7:00p.m. and are usually over by 9:00-9:30p.m.
Meetings routinely include:

- Trip Reports
- Trip Announcements
- Commercial Announcements
- Break
- Program (Usually a slide show, video, or a featured speaker)
- Adjournment
