Meetings The Nittany Grotto meets jointly with the Nittany Grotto Caving Club every other Wednesday, beginning with the first day of classes of each semester, at 7:00 pm in Room 29 of the Shields Intramural Building (IM) on the main campus of Penn State University, State College, PA. The general meetings consists of the Caving Club business meeting and a program. After the general meeting, the grotto usually moves to a member's residence for the "After Meeting Meeting", commonly referred to as the "AMM". The host generally supplies various snacks and other goodies, while each attendee typically supplies their own favorite beverage. Besides the general meetings held throughout the academic year, Nittany Grotto also holds an annual membership business meeting where officers are elected and to conduct business that may come before the Board. Any business that may occur between the annual business meetings is conducted directly by the Board members. All annual membership / business meetings are open to the public. The general Nittany Grotto Meetings will take place on the following 2010 dates at 7:00 PM: February 10 & 24, March 17 & 31, April 14 & 28, and May 12 & 26 The next Annual Nittany Grotto Membership Meeting will be in July 2010 at 7:00 PM.
