The Green River Grotto
Established in 1979, the Green River Grotto is a National Speleological Society affiliated caving group based in south-central Kentucky. We meet monthly in the Environmental Science and Technologies Building (EST, Room 337) on the campus of Western Kentucky University. Whether you're someone interested with no caving experience, a long-time expedition caver or anywhere in between, you're welcome to attend our monthly general meetings and get involved.
We currently are working on a variety of projects related to many aspects of caves including: conservation, research, discovery, exploration, mapping, and community education.
