The 2007 SERA Cave Carnival is being held at Camp Nakanawa located at 1084 Camp Nakanawa Road in Crossville, TN, with easy access to I-40. Directions from various major cities is provided below. A generalized map can also be found at: http://www.campnakanawa.com/directions.htm

Please do not visit the SERA site for any reason prior to the opening of registration (at noon on Thursday) per the camp owner's request, as other groups will be using the camp during the week.

From Knoxville, TN (and points East) Follow I-40 west approx. 77 miles to Plateau Road Exit (Exit 311) west of Crossville, TN. Turn left and proceed south on Plateau Road 1.2 miles to junction with Highway 70N. Turn right on Highway 70N and go 1.7 miles to Mayland Loop Road (eastern loop entrance at Steve’s Market) and turn right. Proceed 0.4 miles to Camp Nakanawa Road and turn right. Follow Camp Nakanawa Road 0.65 miles to registration (crossing Junior Camp Road at 0.15 miles). Approx. travel time: 1.5 hours.

From Nashville, TN (and points West) Follow I-40 east approx. 88 miles to Exit 301. Turn right and proceed south on Highway 70N 7.8 miles to Mayland Loop Road (western loop entrance) and turn left. Proceed 0.3 miles and turn left on Camp Nakanawa Road. Follow Camp Nakanawa Road 0.65 miles to registration (crossing Junior Camp Road at 0.15 miles). Approx. travel time: 1.5 hours.

From Louisville, KY (and points North) Travel south approx. 170 miles on I-65 to Nashville, TN and follow directions above from Nashville. Approx. travel time: 4 hours.

From Chattanooga (and points South) From Exit 178 off I-24, proceed north on Highway 27 approximately 54 miles to Spring City, TN. Turn left on Route 68 and proceed northwest 19.3 miles until it merges with Hwy 127 (after Grassy Cove) east of Crossville. Follow Hwy 127 north for 2.5 miles and turn left on Route 392 (Crossville bypass). Proceed 2.4 miles and turn left (at light) onto Hwy 70. At next light (0.4 miles) go straight onto Hwy 70N (Hwy 70 turns left) and follow Hwy 70N for 11.6 miles to Mayland Loop Road (eastern loop entrance at Steve’s Market). Turn right on Mayland and proceed 0.4 miles to Camp Nakanawa Road and turn right. Follow Camp Nakanawa Road 0.65 miles to registration (crossing Junior Camp Road at 0.15 miles).
