•    The land owner is requesting at this time for all cavers to not request cave access at this time.  It is important to honor their request and following the proper procedures and guidelines established.

ESSO Grotto continues to work hard with CCSRP and area landowners on establishing a working relationship, something that takes years to develop.  This relationship at times gives us access to CLOSED & PERMIT ONLY caves for specific reasons such as restoration work, bat counts, educational agendas, NCRC rescue training lessons, special scheduled trips, etc.  It is important before venturing onto private or state land to establish proper permits and permission.  This enables local cavers to continue to work with local landowners and state land management.
