WELCOME !
Come with us as cavers across the country join forces with the Carter Caves State Resort Park to bring back the caves to their natural splendor! and Much Much More!
The park is gracious enough to host cavers in their scenic campground thru the weekend. We will be having Two Bunkhouses open to participants on a first signup first get basis. Each bunkhouse can accommodate 12 participants. If you prefer the comfort of your own tent there will be plenty of space made available in the area also. Registration Information
This camp is limited to a certain number of participants. You are more than welcome to come and participate whether this is your first time at the park of your 1,000th! However we do encourage you to use good judgment regarding the following things pertaining to your decision to attend:
Are you in the physical shape to participate?
Do you have the weekend off?
Are you ready to have a ball underground?!?!
As mentioned prior bunkhouse space is limited and registration for bunk space is separate to registration for the camp. Please be sure to register for both if you want both.
The registration form is not secure - but we do not keep your information on a online data base other than potentially your name, home state and grotto affiliation (if any). All personal information will be kept offline to protect your privacy and confidentiality.
Once registered for the camp you required to register as a park volunteer. Almost everyone affiliated with activities in a state park must register as a state volunteer to participate in all volunteer activities within the park. (The only ones exempt from this is - Winter Adventure Weekend Staph who registered for that event, which will carry to this event also.) This is why it is important to complete the camp signup form with the full amount of information requested so that you can be contacted if needed prior to the camp. If you prefer you can email the information needed directly to Jonathon F. Lewis @ jonlewis@zoomnet.net or you can mail the information directly to:

ertaining to youth groups / scout groups / other groups of youth - please contact us directly regarding your interest in this project and camp prior to registration. These situations will be handled on a case by case basis in regards to large group / youth participation. There is much discussion of developing a special scout project for the groups involved to head up for special recognition. Contact Jonathon for information.
