Lisa Tebaldi I have always been fascinated with hidden places and I guess that is why I am so interested in caves. Caves are like nothing that you see above ground, but they are full of life. The ecosystems and formations underground are delicate, and take a long time to form, so preserving them is important. I enjoy looking for new caves, excavating, and looking for natural openings. I get an adrenaline rush from going on a good cave trip, especially a vertical trip on rope. Good fellowship with other cavers is part of what makes it fun. When I'm not working on our digging project, I enjoy gardening, hiking, arts and crafts, and watching the birds and wildlife of the Mother Lode. |
