On Thursday April 28th, Mike W. , Michael II, Rich Steffensen and Tony Williams did a cave trip to Cave of the Skulls. It was a short trip, basically just to get underground.

And on Sat. April 30 Mike W. ,Michael II, Courtney W. , along with Tony Williams did three caves in an undisclosed area. The first two were small vertical caves, the second of the two having some nice formations. And the third cave was the largest which consisted of a forty foot rappel and then a tight squeeze and a short down climb, and then back to a another tight squeeze which comes out over a beautiful 100` pit with some awesome orange colored flowstone and draperies with filamental helectites protruding out of them in a side area of the pit. The rest of the the pit is a beautiful (very clean) blue marble.

The cave is full of aragonite crystals, helectites, flowstone, draperies, stalactites, cave pearls, and some cool speleothems.
Total depth of the cave is approx. 180`
