EDUCATION

Would you like a caver to come into your classroom or scout meeting and share their knowledge and experience about the underground environment?

Members of various grottos in Colorado are continuing the work that began with a grant from the National Park Service in 2001.  Over the past year, we have reached over 1000 students!  The grant may have expired, but we are continuing this work with help from the National Speleological Society and Project Underground.

Presentations can be up to 2 hours long and can cover anything you may be interested in, including, but not limited to:  Geology, Biology, History, Cave Management

For more information contact Amy Bern or fill out this form and send it to the address provided.

We’re sorry, but the program is limited only to the following areas:

Denver Metro Area, Denver Front Range from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs and intermediate areas, Conifer, Evergreen, and Vail.

If you live in an area outside of these, feel free to contact us and hopefully we can find other help for you.

Please note: This is not a cave guide service. We are happy to come to your classroom, but if you are interested in a cave trip please consider visiting one of Colorado's commercial caves.
