Who can join the CCG?
Membership in the CCG is open to any individual or organization that supports the
purposes of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and its Cave Conservation Policy
and acts in the best interest of the NSS and the CCG.
Connecticut residency is not required. In 2007 about 20% of CCG members lived out
of state.

- Find out about caving events - and find out sooner!
Become a CCG member and receive emailed announcements of all CCG activities before
they are posted, including those that are not posted.
- Easily contact local cavers - caving related of course.
The CCG maintains an email list. Members may use this list to send caving related
email to other members, such as trip announcements, meeting planning, and an occasional
commentary. If you are a CCG member and believe you are not receiving CCG member
email, please contact the Membership Chair, from the email address that you want
to use.
- Find other cavers to go caving with - rideshare and save gas.
A membership list is available in electronic form to current members, email info@ctcavers.org
and include "CCG" as part of the subject line.
- Find previously unexplored passage, gain worldwide fame.
This part is up to you, but by participating in many trips and assisting in current
explorations, you may be find yourself on the crew of the next big discovery.

CCG Privacy Policy
CCG membership information is used solely by the CCG to maintain our private mailing
lists and member list. Basic information is made available to other members for
the purpose of contacting member directly when caving related. We will not provide
any of our members' information to other companies and/or organizations, with
the exception of the NSS. Their policy is at the bottom of
