About Us
Central Alabama Grotto is a non-profit organization under the supervision of the National Speleological Society. Formed about 11 years ago at Manitou Caverns, we have been a laid back group of cavers ever since. Though we're always looking forward to that next cave, we can be found backpacking, white water rafting, or on our annual month long trip. And though our name indicates a specific geographic location, we have members all over the United States making our grotto a colorful blend. Join us and see where we'll take you.

The Central Alabama Grotto of the National Speleological Society is a nonprofit organization, operating under the guidelines of the National Speleological Society. Annual dues are: Regular membership - $15.00, Family membership - $20.00, Exchange membership - ( principle membership belonging to another grotto ) - $7.00.
