BE IT RESOLVED, that the Constitution of the Boston Mountain Grotto be amended and restated to read as provided in Attachment 1 to this motion; Proposed Revision 5-11-06, Boston Mountain Grotto Constitution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the By-Laws (hereafter to be referred to as the Bylaws) of the Boston Mountain Grotto be amended and restated to read as provided in Attachment 2 to this motion; Proposed Revision 5-11-06, Boston Mountain Grotto Bylaws.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said amendments take effect immediately upon adoption, except that:

1.  The amendments to the By-Laws (Bylaws) set forth above shall not take effect unless the amendments to the Constitution are also adopted.

2. All BMG members at the time of adoption shall remain members until the expiration of their current term, and each shall be assigned to a membership category in accordance with the dues paid, NSS status, and age.

3. The current officers shall continue to serve in their respective offices and shall constitute the Executive Committee through December 31, 2006. Any vacancies in such offices until such time shall be filled in accordance with the procedures of the amended Constitution and Bylaws.
