Excavating for a Historic Cave

Over the years, Grotto members have invested a tremendous amount of time and effort searching for caves.

On several occasions, heavy equipment has been used to search for the buried entrance of a cave mentioned in a 19th Century newspaper.

The exact location of this cave remains a mystery.
