Judges: Dale Lofland, Jennifer Neemann, Don Reese

A total of eight symbolic emblem designs were entered this year, two fewer than 2007’s ten entries. This year’s designs were created on a wide variety of media including two patches, three posters, a geocaching coin, a set of refrigerator magnets with photographs, and the 2008 Convention logo design on various items (beer mug, pin, patch, and sticker). The designs were evaluated for impact, artistic rendition, caver appeal, and technical quality.
