Judges: Ernie Coffman (OR), Emily Graham (NC), Craig Hindman (MD), Kelsea Johnson (VA), and Erin Rust (VA)

A total of 12 symbolic emblem designs were entered this year, two fewer than 2005's 14 entries. This year's designs were created on a wide variety of media, including a coffee mug, a sticker, a set of pins, a license plate, a set of beverage cups, posters, and the 2006 Convention logo design on various items (beer mug, patch, sticker, DVD, and framed prints). The designs were evaluated for impact, artistic rendition, caver appeal, and technical quality.
