| NSS CONSERVATION GRANTS | ||||
| The Conservation Committee administers the NSS Conservation Grants Program. Grants of up to $1,000 (totaling no more than $3,000 in any year) are available to internal organizations, Conservation Task Forces, Conservancies, and individuals for projects that benefit the conservation goals of the NSS. Recent grants have supported research into karst water pollution, the creation of public educational signs and exhibits, and support for the development and dissemination of cave restoration methods and techniques. Because funds are limited, preference is given to projects with broad national application or public impact. Contact: Jim Werker and Val Hildreth-Werker |
