At each year's  convention banquet, the NSS recognizes special people both in and outside of the Society by presenting awards for outstanding accomplishment.  The Awards Committee encourages NSS members to submit names and support material for anyone who would make a good candidate for any of the awards.  Suggestions (including a resume of the person nominated) should be sent to the sub-chairman of the appropriate award anytime during the year, but before the November 15 deadline.  Information concerning the committee may be obtained from the committee chairman, Scott Fee <scottfee@bellsouth.net>.

The purpose of this Web site is to provide information on how the NSS awards process works, pointers on how to write a good nomination letter, and how to nominate a member for an award. All nominations are due NLT November 15th.
